Army Commander will visit the Joint US Army Combat Readiness Centre in Europe

Today, on May 30, Army Commander General Major Valdas Tutkus leaves for Germany where he will be visiting the Joint US Army Combat Readiness Centre on invitation of the USA defence attaché.

 

The Combat Readiness Centre established in 1976 by the US Land Force is one of the most up-to-date centres in Europe. Soldiers have the facilities of modern firing ranges and individual training programmes in Hohenfels and Grafenwoehr military polygons and Vilseck Training Centre. The Centre unceasingly improve soldier training conception and develop criteria of soldier preparation. The centre is the place US and other nations' soldiers undergo preparation course for missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

Commander will come back to Lithuania on June 1.
