Lithuanian cyber defence experts trained in NATO Exercise Cyber Coalition


Cyber security and legal experts of the National Defence System took part in NATO-organised cyber defence Exercise Cyber Coalition 2018 on November 27-29.


The Exercise trained the allies to be ready to protect their information networks from cyber threats and tested and assessed information exchange and decision-making procedures.


The 11th iteration of the exercise involves roughly 700 representatives of NATO and partner countries’ authorities, industry and education institutions. Lithuania was represented by a joint team of MoD, National Cyber Security Centre, Defence Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, and the Lithuanian Grand Duke Gediminas Headquarters Battalion experts.


Participants of annual Exercise Cyber Coalition train from their homebases as well as at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tartu (Estonia).
